From Logan Airport:
Approximately a 15 minute cab ride other than at rush hour. If driving, take route 1-A South through the Callahan Tunnel. Get on I-93 North to Storrow Drive Exit. Proceed West on Storrow Drive about 3 miles to Harvard Square Exit. Go over bridge and through light at Memorial Drive. At next traffic light, turn left onto Elliot Street. Go straight at the traffic light onto Bennett Street (Charles Hotel on left). At stop sign, building will be directly in front of you. Turn left and then right into the parking garage.
From Mass Pike (I 90 from NYC and points west):
Take Mass Pike (I-90) East to Cambridge/Brighton Exit. Pay toll and follow signs to Cambridge. Pass a series of traffic lights adjacent to the Guest Quarters Hotel and go over the bridge. Turn left at foot of bridge onto Memorial Drive. Proceed to JFK Street (follow signs to Harvard Square) and turn right onto JFK Street. At first traffic light turn left onto Elliot Street, stay to the left at the traffic lights onto Bennett Street, (Charles Hotel will be on your left) at the stop sign turn left onto University and a sharp right into the parking garage.
